About Us
Our
Beginning
BK Pet Necessities was founded in 2007 out of a desire to build
the best quality cat playground equipment for the five cats in our household. Our 23 pound Osiris would not fit on cat
towers we could find. When our cats were actively playing (four of which weigh over 15 pounds), most commercial cat towers would tip over. Furthermore, we found low grade carpets would shred, and many products were built from materials other than wood.
In short, BK Pet Necessities started by meeting the needs of five demanding and oversized cats.
Our designs soon proved to be popular with others. What started as a home project soon turned into a business that grew into our garage. Very shortly, our garage was outgrown, and we have since moved into a larger work area, where we can build several play areas at once.

All of our designs are thoroughly tested and approved by cats. Each design is practical for cats and people. They are space saving, durable, and are color coordinated for interior matching.
Everyone at BK Pet Necessities is a lifelong pet lover. Our frustration in standard quality pet necessities has inspired our line of superior quality products.
